fig 2. Jack White

Jack White is one of the great rock conceptualists of the 21st century. Rising to fame as the frontman of The White Stripes, he helped shape the garage rock revival of the 2000s. Their raw sound and iconic hits like "Seven Nation Army" quickly made them one of the era’s biggest acts, with Jack's deep roots in blues rock standing out. White has since explored many diverse musical projects, forming The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather, while also embarking on a successful solo career. His run of solo albums from 2012 onwards showcased his evolving artistry, blending blues, rock, and experimental sounds. In 2024, he returned to his roots with the stripped-down, bluesy album ‘No Name’, continuing his legacy as a true genre-defying artist.
